THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE

So, Why Does Church Matter?

God builds His Kingdom by creating a spiritual family. The Church offers a community where we belong, grow, and demonstrate to the world how to love, serve, and forgive.

His plan is our purpose, and we are commissioned to "go and make disciples." Church is more than attending services—it's about doing life together. We grow as we go!

A Relationship With God Is the Key to NEW LIFE

Here's what's important to us:

Jesus said that the two most important things were to love God and love people (Matthew 22:36-40).

Unconditional Love- We love because He first loved us! We are focused on loving others better by serving, equipping, and discipling them better.

Undeniable Truth- We must not shy away or stray from the Word of God. We stand on the truth of scripture, and we must love others enough to be speakers and carriers of the Truth.

United Spiritual Family- God's design for His people is to become family, one body made up of many parts. We are better together, united in heart and mind, to fulfill His vision for the world.

New Life's Mission:

New Life Church is called to lead and restore people to NEW LIFE in Christ. Whether you are searching for or deepening your relationship with Jesus, we're here to walk with you every step of the way.

  • Curious about Jesus?
We're excited to share the life-changing good news of our Savior with you.
  • Thinking about water baptism?
Let's celebrate this powerful step of faith together!
  • Pursuing God’s purpose for your life?
Together we will study scripture, pray in pursuit of becoming more like Him.
  • Seeking healing from hurt or heartache?
We want to listen and offer biblical encouragement that brings peace and restoration.
Your Next Step Matters

Everyone’s journey is unique, and your next step matters to God—and to us. Wherever you are, we’re ready to walk alongside you as you discover the new life Christ offers to all.

WE are excited to meet you!

Ministry to the

Next Generation

NLC Kids (Nursery-6th grade):

Our kids meet in age-specific groups on Sundays during service. We want to partner with parents and families to ensure our kids are safe, building friendships, learning who they are in Christ, and having a ton of fun worshipping Jesus!

NLC Youth (7th-12th grades):

Our youth are not just the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today! Time and time again, scripture reveals how God used young people to impact the Kingdom. We believe that God created our teens for such a time as this, and they are a valuable asset to our spiritual family. Our youth currently meet on Wednesday nights from 6-7:15pm @ 1036 War Eagle Drive.

New Life Church's

Missions Work

Local Missions:

God has called us to be generous, and NLC is committed to supporting missions in our own community. A portion of our income is dedicated to local efforts such as The Potter’s Hands, Hopetown, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Pregnancy Resource Center. These ministries serve to meet practical needs, share the love of Christ, and transform lives in our local area.

Global Missions:

In addition to local efforts, NLC is passionate about reaching the world with the gospel. Through our global missions support, we partner with organizations like Jews for Jesus and other international ministries to bring hope, faith, and the message of Christ to people across the globe. A minimum of 10% of our church’s income is dedicated to supporting these and other missions efforts worldwide.

Ministry through

Prayer Discipleship

NLC Prayer Team:

A prayerless church is a powerless church. Prayer is the best weapon that we have, and Jesus calls us to be a “house of prayer.” Let us know how we can pray for you! We offer prayer/worship nights throughout the year, so be on the look out for the next one! We would love to have you join us!

NLC Small Groups:

Our corporate small group cycles are offered twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. Our small groups are intentional about building relationships and discipleship. It’s critical that we grow together outside of weekend services, and small groups has been a very fruitful ministry in our church. Ask us about joining a small group today!
